Are you a member of the LGPS? If so and you have a keen interest in how the scheme is managed, there is a role for you on the Cambridgeshire Pension fund.


If you are interested and want to know more, contact the Branch at unison@cambridgeshire.gov.uk and we can answer any questions that you may have.


The time needed is minimal, 4 meetings per year, with only 1 in person meeting held at New Shire Hall. All necessary training will be supplied.

Scheme member representative Vacancy


Would you like a say in the governance of your LGPS pension? You need to be:

  • a member of the Cambridgeshire Pension Fund

  • objective

  • able to work in a team

  • able to analyse information effectively.

The Cambridgeshire Pension Fund Board helps Cambridgeshire County Council manage the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).


About the role

You don’t need to be a pensions expert! It’s a voluntary role for four years. You'll be given full training and all reasonable expenses will be paid for. The Board meets four times a year. Three of these meetings are held virtually over Zoom and one meeting is at New Shire Hall, Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, PE28 4YE.
