UNISON has 1,200 branches in the UK. A branch is made up of all its members. Some members are elected by their workforce to play different roles, including:

Branch Chair: Clare Andrews
Facilitates Branch and committee meetings (also senior negotiator).

Assistant Branch Chair: Martin Cove
Assists the Branch Chair in branch and committee meetings.

Branch Secretary: Rob Turner
The main contact person with the wider union who handles Branch administration.

Branch Treasurer:  Sharon Halls
Responsible for managing Branch finances, including keeping accounts.

Health & Safety Officer: Rob Turner
Campaigns around Health & Safety issues for the Branch.

Young Members Officer: Volunteer needed.
Advises and helps recruit young members while ensuring their voices have an influence across the union.

Equalities Officers: Volunteer needed.  Though watch this space !!
Works on equal rights issues including sex, race, disability and lesbian and gay issues (there may be up to four per Branch).

Schools Convenor: Volunteer needed.
Assists Branch activists in schools and FE contract with organisation and case work.

Education Co-ordinators: Volunteer needed.
Helps arrange training courses and education programmes for members, stewards, health and safety reps and Branch officers.

Membership Officer: Lin Bagwell.
Keeps track of the branch’s membership and works to develop recruitment and organising.

Branch Communications Officers: Rob Turner.
Co-ordinates Branch newsletters, websites and other media.

Welfare Officer:  Vacant 
Assists members in making welfare claims & campaigns around welfare issues related to the Branch

Branch International Officers: Volunteer need to work is this fast moving area of UNISON's work.
Develop and lead on international solidarity activities including campaigns, twinning and support for projects abroad.

Retired Members Officer: Eric Smith and Sheila Morley
Supports UNISON retired members by campaigning on their behalf and organising local activities.

APF Political Officer: Cambridgeshire County representative is vacant.  Branch Secretary Rob Turner has held the Local Government SGE Seat since February 2017.
Liaises with the local Labour Party and makes sure the views of UNISON members who pay the APF levy are heard.
