The majority of our branch members work for CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL and we also have significant membership numbers within Local Authority linked organisations such as CAMBRIDGESHIRE FIRE SERVICE. In terms of branch members in Education, we are the biggest trade union within CAMBRIDGESHIRE SCHOOLS covering support staff in all areas. We also have a large number of branch members within Cambridgeshire FUTHER EDUCATION establishments.
Outside of traditional Local Authority boundaries, the fastest growing area of our branch membership is within the COMMUNITY sector. Separate to the Community sector we also have a number of branch members working in the PRIVATE sector.
